Jared Coffin is an MFA candidate at the University of South Carolina where he tries to avoid encouraging poeticism in freshman essays. His poetry has appeared in The Connecticut Review, Consequence Magazine, Menacing Hedge, and elsewhere. He is a small aircraft pilot and a 2012 Connecticut Student Poet.
